At the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. This recording is one
of numerous Farm-sourced recordings from this tour to surface
in 2007. Whereas most of the Lamb shows taped by the road
crew seem to have been made with a backstage microphone, this
is one of a few that is a real soundboard. The sound quality
is therefore quite nice, though I heard the occasional buzz
and perhaps a few pops, probably from the original tapes.
Unfortunately the show is chopped up. As usual the cuts begin
a little past halfway in the performance: we get only the
beginning minute of "Anyway" before it abruptly cuts off and
we jump to the ending verse of "Lamia." Though in Paul
Russell's book he notes a complete "Silent Sorrow," this
version (which matches the one listed by Simon on The
Movement) only has the first minute of the song before the
recording once again cuts off, ending the first disc.
The rest of the Lamb performance continues without a cut.
Peter omits a few lines from "In the Rapids," as he often did
on this tour, especially in the early days. Unfortunately we
are left with only the ending minute of "Box," but we do get
the complete second encore, "Watcher."
